The town itself is not a postcard — think apartment blocks, a busy promenade and a lot of ice cream — but it has the best transport links in the south, hundreds of rooms at every price, and it puts Ksamil, Butrint and the Blue Eye within a short drive. Stay here if you want evenings with a bit of life and mornings on a different beach every day.
